Ceremonial Turnover of 100 Houses in Indahag Today

City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano shall kick off today, June 4, 2012, the ceremonial turnover of 100 houses built by the Habitat For Humanity at the Indahag Relocation Site.

After the simple ceremonies, the office of the Estate Management Division (EMD) are tasked to transport and settle the beneficiaries into their respective permanent homes.

On June 15, 2012, a similar ceremonial turnover of houses built by the Filipino-Chinese Community (FCC) shall be conducted in sitio Calaanan, Canitoan.

A total of 100 family-beneficiaries shall also be given possession of the FCC housing units with Mayor Emano and other city officials during the occasion.

These turnovers and settlement of the beneficiaries in Indahag and Calaanan during the month of June are the result of the series of raffling events undertaken by the EMD in partnership with the office of the Committee of the Urban Poor under Councilor Alexander Dacer.
