DOH Allocates P18.6M for City Hospital this Year

For 2012, the Department of Health has appropriated P18,652,000.00 for Cagayan de Oro’s JR Borja General Hospital, according to City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano in a recent statement.

This, after City Health Officer and Concurrent City Hospital Chief Dr. Jerie P. Calingasan reported the national government’s allocation to the mayor.

The mayor has expressed his appreciation to this development and, due to this funding, is looking forward to seeing even better delivery of medical services especially to the city’s less privileged citizens.

Atong gikalipay ang paggahin og pundo sa Department of Health aron hingpit nang mapahimuslan sa mga kabus nga pasyente ang mga facilidades sa atong City Hospital,” said Mayor Emano.

The fund would be applied to implement Dr. Calingasan’s plan of putting up an Operation Room/Delivery Room Complex, as well as the installation of an Intensive Care Unit and Dialysis Units.
