JICA Engineers to Commence Pre-Site Inspection for River Control Project this Week

Five Japanese engineers will be arriving in CdeO within the week to begin site inspection and planning for the P3Billion- to P5Billion- River Control Project which will be funded entirely by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), according to City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano who recently received communication from Japan regarding this matter.

The mayor welcomed this development as the project will help in minimizing, if not preventing, any more damages caused by flooding of the river banks, and at no cost to the city.

Dako kini nga tabang kanato, walay atong gasto, aron kita mapanalipdan sa baha” the mayor said.
