The City Government of CdeO is tightly monitoring the typhoon Pablo as it enters the Philippine area of responsibility and is seriously employing all measures and resources as it readies itself to minimize the danger the storm may bring to its people.
In accordance with the order of City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano, who is also the Chairman of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC), presently on standby are the city’s equipment like service vehicles, dumptrucks, payloaders, rubber boats, as well as relief goods and other materials. The Oro Alert Rescue group, the police, firemen, military, and City Hall employees are also ready to respond to all reports and calls for assistance.
In addition, the CDRRMC has also oriented the various Barangay Captains to improve their preparedness in the event of any disaster.
