Special Commendation from ABCCA

Acting City Administrator Ms. Wilma P. Rugay receives a special commendation from ABCCA through Professor Soc del Rosario for the city’s service and role as ABCCA’s partner. ABCCA recently celebrated its 4th Commencement Exercises for its latest batch of graduates.


ABCCA-Kauswagan Opens

City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano formally opened the Asian Business Cabletow Cooperative Academy (ABCCA) in Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City, June 25, 2012, and signed the Memorandum of Agreement together with Professor Soc Anthony del Rosario (3rd from left), ABCCA President Isidro Saligumba (right) and Kauswagan Barangay Captain Pedro Balite (left). The Kauswagan branch is the 7th ABCCA in the city with the same aim of reaching out to provide college education to the underprivileged.


ABCCA Calaanan Community College Now Open

City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano formally opened the 6th branch of the Asian Business Cabletow Cooperative Academy (ABCCA) Calaanan Community College.

This, after the Mayor, together with the members of the City Council, the ABCCA officials, Department of Education (DepEd), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and barangay officials of Canitoan, led the opening ceremony yesterday, June 18, 2012, at the Pedro ‘Oloy’ N. Roa Sr. Elementary School.

“Atong dakong kalipay ug garbo nga nabuksan na ang ABCCA Calaanan Community College aron atong matabangan ang mga kabus nga magtutungha nga dili intawon makagahum pagtungha sa kolehiyo tungod sa kapobrehon. Kining tanan dili nato mahimo kung wala ang mga paningkamot nila ni Professor Soc Anthony del Rosario ug mga kauban,” the mayor stated in praise.

The mayor also added that ABCCA Kauswagan Community College shall open next week.

“Mao na dayon kini ang ika-pitong sangang tunghaan sa ABCCA, dugang sa mga satellite campus dinha sa Balubal, Dansolihon, Iponan, Corrales Extension, Lumbia ug Calaanan,” the mayor further said.

ABCCA-Calaanan Opens Its Doors

ABCCA- Calaanan Opens Next Week

Next week, the Asian Business College Cabletow Academy (ABCCA) in Calaanan will open its doors to students for enrollment. There is already an initial 150 students, according to Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano, ready to enroll as soon as it opens.

Also, the Mayor and the Bureau of Fire has agreed to assign a fire truck in Calaanan to protect the increased population now living there.

ABCCA To Open 2 More Public Colleges in Calaanan and Kauswagan

The Asian Business College Cabletow Academy (ABCCA) will soon put up 2 more public colleges bringing its number of branches from 4 to 6 in Cagayan de Oro City.


This development was announced by City Mayor Vicente Y. Emano when he revealed the plans of putting up public colleges in Calaanan of barangay Canitoan and barangay Kauswagan in the hope of helping more poor students complete their college education.

Gawas nga ubay-ubay na usab ang nakatapos sa ABCCA branches diha sa Corrales Extension, barangay Iponan, Dansolihon, and Balubal, magbutang usab kita ug sanga diha sa Calaanan ug Kauswagan aron mas daghan pang mga kabus nga magtutungha ang atong matabangan aron maka-tibawas sa kolehiyo,” the mayor stated.

VYE Congratulates 200 ABCCA Grads

The 3rd Commencement Exercise for the Asian Business Cabletow Cooperative Academy (ABCCA) was successfully held at the City Tourism Hall yesterday, March 26, 2012.

City Mayor Vicente ‘Dongkoy’ Y. Emano warmly congratulated the more than 200 students of ABCCA who successfully completed their respective courses.
